Project: Wavy wall panels for The Flower Bowl Entertainment Center in Preston, UK.
Requirements:
The Flower Bowl is a large entertainment centre in Preston, Lancashire. As well as hosting a cinema, bowling alley, crazy golf garden and curling ring it also provides various dining options. One of these is the main restaurant. Clients Carlton Contracts were keen to have a standout feature wall in this area to add interest and atmosphere for diners.

In the end the choice was our popular Wave gypsum 3d panels. We supplied more than 100 sqm of these stunning wavy wall panels. The joints were filled in to create a seamless effect, and the panels extended in order to reach the ceiling. Then contractors paint the panels for an ocean blue colour. Waves are made of natural ceramic plaster, fire-resistant and environmentally friendly material, what make them great for large commercial projects.
Results:
The overall effect of the vast area of blue ripple wall panels was to create an under-water effect – exactly what the delighted client had been looking for. For diners it provided a restful environment in which to rest and dine after – or pre – a night of action at one of the activities on offer. An architect made an impressive job and connects interior and exterior elevations of The Flower Bowl with colours and word-class design.
