Concrete bar front at Omnom

Project: Concrete bar front for Omonom Restaurant, London, UK

Requirements:
OMNOM restaurant in London’s Islington Square is a plant-based restaurant and wellbeing space which has a focus on conscious eating and spiritual upliftment. In addition to providing healthy food it also hosts a number of yoga classes. We achieve all in a contemporary setting. Our Client, Vascroft Contractors were looking for a smooth minimalist look for the interior which wouldn’t detract from the restaurant’s general aesthetic. This was to be in the form of a concrete accent wall and bar feature.

Product:
We advised on using a mixture of grey and dark grey 3D Tzara concrete tiles. These were employed for use on the restaurant’s Welcome Wall in the front foyer and on panels for the concrete bar front. Architectural concrete is a fire-resistant and really hard-wearing material that lends itself beautifully to a modernist industrial Omnom interior. Busy bar required a very tough covering and concrete perfectly suited for a surface covering purpose. Tzara concrete 3d tiles have a 4i attribution rating which is the highest in concrete products available on the market.

Result:
The hard-wearing and solid concrete tiles beautifully coordinated with the existing concrete ceiling beams in the restaurant interior. Overall, the pleasing effect was of a clean, minimalist and contemporary space. This was further enhanced with industrial furniture. Omnom is a place with good vibes because of a yoga classes, excellent food because the menu is a vegan and beautiful design because is decorated with our Tzara concrete tiles.
