Project: Exhibition wall design for Indian Ocean
Requirements: Indian Ocean is a premium outdoor furniture brand with shop premises in Hampstead and Balham. Their products can also be found in the iconic London store Harrods. Indian Ocean required stunning exhibition wall design. They need that for their stand which they intended taking to furniture fairs in both London and Paris. The stand had to be mesmerising enough to attract passing trade and, at the same time, upmarket enough for the brand.
Our clients on this project were Drumbeat Exhibitions who specialise in providing impressive and upmarket stands for their customers. We were aware that, as well as being stunning to look at, the products we supplied for the exhibition wall panels had also to be light enough. Product: After much discussion, it was decided to use a bespoke solution in the form of specially produced custom Kite design 3d panels. These were used on both sides of the stand to create balance. More than 20 sqm of tile panels were used and painted the same sky blue shade as the brand’s logo. The geometric wall panels proved lightweight enough to be moved easily and could snap quickly into place without much effort.
Results: The exhibition wall panels proved to be a huge success, allowing Indian Ocean to stand out amongst their competitors. Kite feature wall was unassembled and used in another venue, which saves clients’ money and it’s good for the environment.
